The Mines Inspection and Salvation Department filed a criminal suit at the Prosecution
of Serious Crimes against mineworkers’ strike
leaders for violating safety at work regulation and for damaging public
property.
“They have made serious violations of safety at work regulation that endanger the health and life of the mineworkers”, says the suit.
The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Economy decided to suspend the usage of Bulqize mine until its reconstruction.
