Ministry orders schools to clean roofs

The Director for the Pre-University Education, Fatmir Vejsiu, declared on Top Channel’s “Shqip” program that the local leaders must take measures for the schools to restart safely. He underlined that the roofs have taken heavy loads of snow, and they must be urgently cleaned, before schools start functioning again.

“They must take measures for the roofs and open the raods. The fact that there is no more snow, doesn’t mean that the schools should be opened immediately. Rain and the melted snow could cause bigger problems than snow. The roofs are in a difficult state and all directors have been instructed to take all necessary measure for creating safe conditions”, Vejsiu declared.
