Ministry: judge to be discharged

For the ninth time within this year, the Minister of Justice, Eudard
Halimi, addressed to the High Council of Justice for another judge that
he wants to discharge and take under the discipline procedures.

The judge is from the Court of Berat. The High Inspectorate of Declaration of Asset and Audit has concluded that he has concealed four assets. According to an official notification of the Ministry of Justice, this is considered a very serious discipline violation that discredits the figure and position of judges, hence, their request is for him to be discharged.

The press office underlines that the Ministry of Justice for this year has addressed eight discipline requests to the High Council of Justice, starting from warnings and even with discharged judges in Vlore, Tirana, Durres, Korca, Elbasan, Kavaja and Kukes.

The Ministry of Justice announced the start of the discipline procedures for seven private bailiffs by the end of two inspections held in 46 offices. These bailiffs had violated the execution orders, after citizens complained for them at the Ministry of Justice.

Seven noterial offices in Tirana, korca, Shkoder, Lac and Durres have been inspected, after complaints from citizens and institutions for the sale of vehicles with foreign documents. As result, six notaries will be investigated.
