The Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, said that the government will
reflect on the public security law if the suggestions of the Presidency
are reasonable and legal. However, he said, there are no more debates in
the developed world about the importance balance between privacy and
public safety.
One day President Nishani returned the law for the public security, which foresees the placement of cameras in public and private environments, the Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, said that the government is open for any legal and reasonable suggestion.
“The President made use of his constitutional right. He has shown some reserves which I trust we will be able to see and discuss with the Parliamentary Commissions”, Tahiri said.

The Presidency argues that the law was returned for damaging the privacy guaranteed by the Constitution, the European Convent for Human Rights.
