The Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, gave a declaration for the media
underlining that there is no debate within the Socialist Party about
internal elections, but there is a reforming process for all structures.
“There is no discussion about new elections for the Socialist Party. We are reforming the party in order to increase the political capacities. There will be elections for all SP forums and for the reconfirmation of the current party leader, but these are to reform the party so that we can be closer to citizens”, Tahiri said.
As for the National Bureau of Investigation, the Minister said they are following all necessary steps to create it, in order to fight corruption in the highest levels.
