Minister of Economy signs debt conversion with Italian Embassy

The Minister of Finances signed today with the Italian Ambassador an
agreement for the final phase of the Italian-Albanian program for
converting the debt.

The agreements opens a new 20 million EUR fund for funding projects that will increase stability through improving resource usage, social cohesion, professional formation, rule of law and social democracy.

The first phase funded 42 projects with 16 million EUR.
