The Area D miners returned at work after an entire month of
interruption. A court decision obliged the ACR Company to open the doors
and allow the Alb Krom Company miners to return working at the Area D.
The work at this part of the mine was interrupted for more than one year due to a general strike undertaken by the miners and then due to a conflict between the companies that exploit chrome. During this entire time, the miners were engaged in several protests demanding the return to work. The conflict is still continuing between the companies. The ACR Concessionary asked the miners to work at well nr.2.
Area D is known for the chrome stocks and the illegal exploitation, which have caused many conflicts.
