The Social Democracy Party leader, Paskal Milo, made another appeal to
take in consideration the requests of small parties, from the Electoral
Reform Commission.

Speaking on the leadership committee, Milo underlined that the political table that gathered 26 parties of the right and left specter was a unique event in the history of the Albanian pluralism.

According to him, the political meeting was held for reviewing one of the most important problems, such as a righteous electoral reform that guarantees free future elections.

“The document signed by the 26 parties is not a paper of autographs, but a serious document which the Parliamentary Commission must turn into an integral part of the Electoral Code. The Parliamentary Commission Chairmen are the political representatives of their parties, and no group can dissolve a common stance signed by 26 parties”, Milo underlined.

He added that Albania has no more time to lose with the current important political decisions, and cannot allow mistakes.

“If politics will recycle the mistakes of the past, Albania will also recycle its anti-values that have left our country behind in the last 20 years”, Milo declared.

He added that the next Parliamentary elections have a special importance, since a political rotation is indispensable after 8 years of failed governing.

“The Parliamentary elections are very important for the country. It is indispensable to make a political rotation. The current government will find it very hard to stay on power. The Albanians will not vote a coalition of parties that have done nothing”, Milo declared.
