Milo: Plot against elections

12/07/2012 00:00

On behalf of the Socialist Party allies, Paskal Milo, leader of the
Socialist Democracy party has expressed his dissatisfaction about the
compromise that has been given by the Socialist Party for the Electoral
Reform.

“A rushed and damaging solution that deforms the Constitution and does not allow the political will of the electors to be respected”, Milo declared.

“Unfortunately, the Socialist Party ceded from their persistence to guarantee electronic identification of the elections in the 12 districts of Albania, reducing it to only one district. The same goes for the electronic voting. We feel that this is another plot against the free and honest elections, and we are surprised that the SP did not stand to its decisions for guaranteeing an electoral infrastructure that could bring free and honest elections”, Milo declared.

Milo says that the DP will still have their own man as head of the Central Election Commission.

“They are doing make-up to some of the Electoral Code laws that give undisputable advantages to the ruling party, making it possible for them to elect the CEC Chairman once again”, Milo declared.

Milo has not decided yet if their party will be part of the Socialist coalition in the elections of 2013.

RBA, protest in front of the Parliament

The Red and Black Alliance also opposed the political agreement reached between the two main parties. They protested in front of the Parliament by criticizing the opposition leader, Edi Rama, of being defrauded again by the leader of the ruling party, Sali Berisha.

RBA says that the DP and SP are ready to create a coalition with each other only for keeping their seats.

RBA declared that now is time for punishing and removing the corrupted dictators from Albania, who are ready to kill the Albanian brothers for power.
