Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Social Democracy leader, Paskal Milo, declared that he is against rushed constitutional amends.
Milo declared that damaging amends are being made in the name of the EU priorities.
“In the next months we will have an electoral campaign and why not, a witch hunt from the majority against the opposition, in the name of the EU standards, in the name of war against corruption or other acts that could damage the opposition and that could create a reign of terror before the elections of 2013, for functions that are already known by the current majority”, Milo declared.
Milo declared that the amends should be well thought and not be included only in the immunities, but also other concerning issues, such as the electoral code.
“This is the time to make a Constitutional amend even for the system, when many Albanian political actors are complaining about it and when time has proven that the amend of that system was one of the next mistakes of the two big political parties, hence we insist that it should be made as a package”, Milo declared.
