Meta’s lawyers: “Experts, most competent”

Braho considered these experts as the most competent in Albania. In an emotional state, the lawyer Petrit Serjani defended himself in a press release by opposing Prifti’s accusations that he was seen with the three experts at the “Europa” bar in Tirana, which if proved, will automatically reject the expertise of the three experts.

Spartak Braho defended the integrity of the three Albanian experts by saying that Meta’s case could be part of a political conspiracy. The strongest point of Meta’s lawyers seems to be the fact that the experts found no tracks of the material in the memory of the camera-clock.

But what do the Albanian experts say on this matter, compared to the US expert Glen Bart? Top Channel compared one day ago the two conclusions.

The Albanian experts confirm that they cannot prove if the clock is the one that has recorded the conversation, and that they have found no traces of the Meta-Prifti video in it. The Albanian experts also say that they are unable to determine the origin of the clock, since they are unable to tell if the video has been downloaded from that clock.

The US expert says that the clock has 8 GB memory and was used for recording the Meta-Prifti video. It has been connected with the portable computer seized as evidence. Glen Bart also says that he was able to find another video that was deleted from the equipment.

Prifti: Experts lied, I’m not afraid of threats

Dritan Prifti reacted after the declaration of Ilir Meta’s lawyer with another public announcement. Prifti declared that there is no threat that could scare him away from telling the truth. He added that the threats of the “devil’s advocate” can only make him laugh.

“Two daily newspapers have published on their front pages the meeting of Serjani with the three experts before I made this accusation. The experts have lied to the public and justice. They have committed a crime against justice and truth.  All Albanians have understood the fraud scheme. USA and Britain have the evidence and the expertise for the lie given by Meta’s experts”, Prifti declared.

The three experts gave a different conclusion to the one that was given by the US expertise, saying that the Meta-Prifti video might have been altered.

In a public reaction, Prifti accused the experts of incompetence and a politically motivated decision, while Top Channel presented the obvious differences between the two tests.
