Meta: Ending political conflicts

“The basis of our political strength has positive energy. Albania doesn’t need politicians that add obstacles, but the love of women”, Meta declared.

The SMI leader has spoken about the Albanian society in general, which, according to him, became equal with the societies of the European countries after the visa regime was lifted.

“Someone was concerned that if the visa regime would be lifted, hundreds of thousands of Albanians would ask political asylum in the EU countries. They said this because they wanted to punish the Albanians unjustly. But more than one year later, the Albanians showed that they are dignified European citizens for fulfilling all obligations”, Meta declared.

According to Meta, the same was said about the candidate status.

“Albania should have taken the candidate status. An obstacle for this was politics, not the economic criteria in which Albania has received positive evaluations for the reforms, and it was not about the approximation of the laws, for which an amazing work has been made. On the contrary, they are trying to find pretextes for delaying a process that is related with a national aspiration”, Meta declared.

Meta expressed his gratitude for the “Students of December” and all Albanian women that supported the democratic changes.

“We are here to show our determination in Albania and Europe, so that the position of women can be reinforced by the social-economic point of view, in the institutions and the political and social life of the country”, Meta added.
