Meta: Electoral Reform should start immediately

The leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta, declared that it is urgent to start the electoral reform as
soon as possible, which should be supported in two
main pillars: all-inclusion and transparency.

“I want to join the appeal of the OSCE ambassador, regarding the necessity for starting the electoral reform that is being expected by everyone, especially by the EU. It is time to leave words aside and start a responsible and serious work. Let us turn the words in an all-inclusive reform. We strongly appeal for political dialogue”, Meta declared.

The SMI underlined that the electoral reform is strongly related with the functioning of democracy and the respect of the citizen’s vote in the republic of Albania.
