Meta criticizes the EU Ambassador: You didn’t do enough for dialogue

Right after the EU Ambassador to Tirana declared that the political parties should urgently engage in dialogue, the President of Albania, Ilir Meta, reacted by making some public questions to Ambassador Soreca.
Meta criticized the Ambassador, saying that the EU delegation has not made the right efforts to encourage dialogue between the parties.
Meta’s questions to Soreca:
Were you really in favor of encouraging dialogue between the parties?
Did you undertake any concrete initiative for establishing this dialogue between the parties?
Did you ask the President’s support for dialogue, so that we could avoid the ugly image of June 30th, which hurts the European future?
Were you informed that the president undertook an initiative for cancelling the elections, with the purpose to establish dialogue between the parties?
Why didn’t you support the President in this public initiative?
