The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, underlined
from Elbasan that the only priority of the political force he leads is
coalition with all Albanian citizens and the integrating processes of
the country.
“The most important alliance is with those who want Albania to progress faster with integration, development and progress. There’s only one path for this direction: cooperation. SMI is a political force of cooperation, imposed by the love for all Albanians”, Meta declared.
According to Meta, the nationalist rhetoric should be left aside, giving priority to the development of the country in all key sectors.
“We say to everyone that the best patriotism is not working with the past, but working for Albania’s EU integration”, Meta underlined.
He stated that he was sure for the success of the SMI in the next elections, promising higher results than in the previous elections.
