The chief of Neuro-Surgery, Mentor Petrela, reacted after his name was
in the list published by Prime Minister Edi Rama, regarding complaints
made by the people.
Contacted by Top Channel, Petrelsa said he has a normal relation with the Prime Minister, but he cannot explain how his name could be mentioned in a list, based on a complaint of citizens.
Petrela said he learned the news through his colleagues. Quoting Thomas Friedman and Nitzche, the professor answers to the Prime Minister by saying that populism is a cynical way to play with the anger of an amorphous mass, which is pampered with the word ‘people’ and that is often used to get rid of the ‘usurping’ elite. The cause is eternal hate and envy against talent. To avoid the stupidity that feeds this populism through today’s communication means, I have rejected these means. Ant today I find myself corrupted”, Petrela said.
