Memorial for former political prisoners damaged in Tirana

Unidentified people have damaged the “Post Block” memorial, which
commemorates the suffering and crimes of the communist dictatorship.
The memorial that stands close to the Parliament’s Main Offices and the Prime Minister’s Office has been damage, while part of the surrounding glass has been broken. Police officers and former political prisoners were present at the scene.
The vice Mayor of Tirana, Enno Bozdo, arrived at the scene and accused the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker for this vandalism.
This is not the first time that memorials are damaged. Some time ago, some metallic plates were remvoed from the Independence Memorial.
