The leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, reacted against the
declarations of the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, who mentioned the
name of Fatjon Skenderi, who he said was a driver of the leader of the
Republican Party.
Mediu said that the government is manipulating the facts and the names involved in this event. He added that Skender has been driver of this party from 1991 to 1993.
“The government is manipulating the facts and the names involved in this event. The government didn’t reveal this story for six months, and now they claim they resolved it in two days. The Interior Minister tried to connect this with my name, by saying that Skenderi used to be a driver of the Republican Party. He was a driver from 1991 to 1993, when Tahiri was still a little boy. This declaration is a manipulation”, Mediu declared.
