The Central Electoral Commission decided to publish the applications of
officials who are undergoing the decriminalization law procedures.

The publishing came as result of the request made by the Parliamentary Group of the DP, Edi Paloka, and some media that will have the applications.

The Mayors of Kruja, Kavaja, Polican and Mallakastra have filled with “yes” the area if they have ever been tried or sentenced by a foreign or Albanian court.

Artur Bushi, Mayor of Kruja, admitted he has been taken under custody in Italy, twice. Initially in Caserta, in 1996, and then in Burso Arsizio. He was investigated for drug traffic, but was cleared of all charges.

The Mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Roshi, confirmed that he has changed his name from Ervin to Ervis, and that he has been fined once by the Municipality of Kavaja.

Roshi admits that he has been under investigation in Munich, but “he doesn’t remember” for what, and he doesn’t remember even the final result of the trial.

The Mayors of Mallakastra and Polican also declared that they have been under trial. However, the special case is that of the Kurbin Municipality, Artur Ndoi. He admits that he has changed his name four times. He says he has used undocumented names, and even his birthplace is different in other documents.

As for Parliament Members, Mhill Fufi admits he was investigated for favoring prostitution and participation in illegal manifestation. Arben Ristani also answered that he has been esentenced for “giving an unfair verdict”, a sentence that received amnesty at the Court of First Instance.
