The Mat Prosecution asked for four years in prison for the former Head
of commune, 18 years in total for him and six other persons, who are
accused of power abuse and forging documents, under the leadership of
the Head of the Lis commune in Burrel.
The former leader of the commune, Agim Selita, together with six other people, are accused of causing a 10 million ALL damage to the state.
The Prosecution has found that some payments for internal spending fo the commune have been falsified. The Commune has bought 160 printer ink packages without having a printer at all, and a Land Rover vehicle owned by the commune was sold for 125.000 ALL when its real value was 180.000 ALL.
The Mat Prosecution demanded 4 years in prison for Agim Selita, 2.5 years for Liljana Aliaj, former official of the commune, 2 years for Dashamir Panxha, Qemal Marqeshi and Hismet Barhani, and one year for Ismail Brahimetaj.
