communes to create regulating plans that respond to this development.
The Kashar commune has created a master plan that will unite and regulate the area for the next 20 years. According to the heads of the commune, the regulation plan gives priority to the business development in this area.
During the consultation of the master plan with the interest groups and the decision-making organs, the chairman of the Kashari commune, Besnik Fucia, underlines that a priority for the big regulation plan will have the businesses that operate in the Tirana-Durres highawy, the number of which has increased in the last 5 years.
The head of the commune declared that the 20 year plan for the development of Kashar will not discriminate the owners who are living without knowing what will happen with their properties.
The Kashar commune has 3800 hectares, in which are included 10 villages.
Since 2006 to to 2012, the population in Kashar has increased from 14.000 to 45.000, with 1200 businesses that operate along the Tirana-Durres highway.
For the nxt 10 years, the population might reach 130.000 residents and the number of businesses will reach 200.
