Marching against cancer

Girls and women marched on the “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard for raising awareness for the war against breast cancer.
October is the month of the war against fatal diseases. The Parliament Spaker, Jozefina Topalli, appealed all girls and women to make frequent visits to the doctor for preventing the final phase of this disease, in order to save their life and their family.
“We ask all women in Albania, wherever they may live, to make the medical visit and save their life and that of their families. We all must do everything in our power to raise awareness for this problem”, Topalli declared.
The head of the Oncological Service, Agim Sallaku, asks all actors to contribute with the prevention of this dangerous disease.
“Neither patients or doctors can fight this disease, without the support of the politics and media”, Sallaku declared.
The breast checkups are recommended once in six months for every woman, in order to prevent the patient from losing her life.
