Measures known as the ‘red protocol’ set by the government for restarting work in manufacturing shops and businesses, have not been well received by the managers of the sector.
The use of gloves, masks, the distance of 2 meters between the employees or the commute with special vans, are some of the points that none of these executives thinks will achieve, because according to them, the work will be blocked.
“The work cannot start because the workers cannot work with gloves, in tailoring work the gloves tear, the distance cannot be kept because they work in chains. The masks make them short of breath, as they are 8 hours at work, if we work with these measures, they lose production and the work is blocked “.
Only in the Kruja region there are 27 manufacturing shops and more nationally, which means that the requirement point “A doctor for each tailoring shop” is also not met.
“In Albania there are about 600 tailors from one doctor for every 600 doctors, at a time when we have or how we have 3000 doctors in Albania”, states the manager.
Another requirement on the part of the sector is wage war. Workers must now receive 26,000 lek from the government as inclusion in the “war salary”.
It seems clear that the manufacturers do not intend to start work until the government decides to restore the green protocol.
