Manhunt for Kumbaro

The detectives of the Extradition Unit at the London Metropolitan Police
issued an appeal for finding Ilir Kumbaro, for whom the court has
released an arrest order.

According to the BBC, the Police and the Prosecution have opposed Kumbaro’s parole, but he won it through the Court of Appeal. The Extradition Unit officer, Peter Rance, declared that Kumbaro might have not been able to leave Britain, and that he might have been hiding at one of his friends.

Detective Rance added that although he is not a danger for the public, he is wanted in Albania for kidnapping and torture. “This is a high profile international investigation, paid by the taxpayers’ money. It is right to arrest him and bring him to the court that released him in good faith”.

BBC notifies that the parole was given by the Supreme Court in London. The British Police is asking the public to give information for Kumbaro’s whereabouts.

Top Channel learned yesterday that the police was still looking for Kumbaro, while his family members considered him as lost. They refused to comment their side of the story for Kumbaro’s disappearance, regardless Top Channel’s persistance.
