“Starting from October 1, four health centers in Tirana that will offerday-night service to cope with the autumn-winter period for pediatric emergencies. With our decision to guarantee the service 24 hours without interruption near the residence, we aim to avoid the influx in QSUT during nighttime “, said Manastirliu.
Guaranteeing that the service in the 24-hour health centers is provided complete and with quality, Manastirliu appealed to the parents:
“An appeal for all parents, do not send your children directly to the QSUT hospital, but go to the health centers near the place of residence. Further on it is your pediatrician who assesses whether he needs treatment at QSUT. We must avoid as much as possible the flows in QSUT, especially in this period “, said Manastirliu.
The Minister of Health informed that the system is being organized for the flu vaccine, according to a detailed plan.
“They are getting ready for the flu vaccine, which this year will have a multiplication of doses to ensure the protection of children and all vulnerable groups,” said Manastirliu.
