A four-year-long love story in Erseka ended with a murder and suicide on the San Valentine’s day.
50-year-old Fatos Kapllani had a romantic affair with the 32-year-old Nertila Petriti, a divorced mother of two. The 50-year-old was married and had two children.
The woman had decided to interrupt their relation after eight years, and the murderer visited her today at her apartment, asking to celebrate San Valentine together, while she was in the house with her mother and a 10 year old daughter.
After the victim refused, Fatos Kapllani fired five bullets against the 32-year-old, and then shot himself.
Neighbours say that Nertila’s mother ran shocked outside the apartment and sought help.
The victim had reported the 50-year-old at the Police for violent attacks, and the Korce Prosecution even started an investigation, but the victim then withdrew the charges against the man who killed her and himself.
