The majority and opposition united their votes for establishing the ad-hoc committee that will appoint the members of the High Councils for Judiciary and Prosecution.
The three members of the majority in this committee are Ulsi Manja,. Vasilika Hysi and Klotilda Ferhati. The opposition’s members are Oerd Bylykbashi from the Democratic Party and Nasip Naco from the Socialist Movement for Integration.
The opposition accused the majority of securing a majority for the decision-making at the High Council of the Prosecution, which will guarantee them to decide the Prosecutor General and the Special Prosecution Against Corruption.
The majority didn’t respond, while the General Secretary of the Parliament presented his reports about the candidates, for which the majority itself didn’t seem clear enough.
“The report of the Parliament’s General Secretary was deeper than the one realized by the ad-hoc commissions, or by the International Monitoring Operation as well. The report doesn’t exclude the candidacies proposed on the IMO list”, declared the General Secretary of the Parliament, Genc Gjoncaj.
