Majlinda Kelmendi, another golden medal in Paris

Kosovo judo fighter Majlinda Kelmendi won another golden medal, this time in Paris, against Japanese Natsumi Tsunoda.

The 2016 champion proved to be worthy of her title by starting 2017 with a well-deserved success in Paris.

The Japanese fighter, Natsumi Tsunoda, had won over another judo fighter from Kosovo, Distria Krasniqi.

Before reaching this final, Kelmendi had won against Canadian Ecaterina Guica in the quarter finals, and against American Angelica Delgado in the semi-finals.

Kelmendi was the first Kosovo athlete ever to win an Olympic medal for her country, in Rio De Janeiro 2016.
