Majko: Negotiations for immunity

The realtor for the immunity limitation case and one of the highest
exponents of the Socialist Party, Pandeli Majko, underlined that the
propositions made by the Socialist headquarters regarding justice are
not conditions for the compromise that has been achieved earlier.
According to Majko, this means that the SP agrees completely to limit the immunity but demands that on the same time they can discuss and analyze in front of the public the package that has been proposed by them.
As regards the session of this Monday, Majko reconfirmed that the SP position is to not vote, but on the other hand they favor the negotiations that would push a partial decision of the majority that would open way to a common process that is not based on partial positions.
SP: PM turned corruption in a system
The organizative secretary of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, declared that the package proposed by the Socialist is for an independent justice. “Berisha has turned corruption into a system and different from us they want a justice that is submitted to them”, Klosi declared while appealing the Prime Minister to reflect.
“The Socailist favor EU integration, but Berisha is against it. We want an independent judiciary, but he wants a system that is submitted to him. We favor the zero tolerance war against corruption, but he has turned corruption into a system. Before it is too late, if Berisha wants Albania a normal European country where politics makes its best for the country, and if our country wants to be integrated, Beisha must reflect”, Klosi declared.
