Media outlets from Macedonia reported that VMRO Parliament Members, from
the party of former Prime Minister Nikolla Gruevski, blocked today the
new Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, from entering his new office.
They held each others’ hands blocking this way Xhaferi from entering his office. BDI didn’t confirm or deny this news, but they said the Parliament Speaker can exert his duty even from the office he has had so far.
Antonio Miloshovski, from the VMRO, reconfirmed the stance of his party MPs.
Three days ago, the envoy from the US State Department, Hoyt Brian Yee, appealed for the creation of a new government and for stopping the violence in the Macedonian Parliament. He condemned the April 27th episode, where journalists and MPs were injured.
