Macedonia resolves trade stalemate

The Macedonian government, in a meeting that started this Friday, has
taken the decision to remove the import tax from flour that comes from
neighboring countries.
After this is also expected for the Macedonian government to remove the tax on Kosovo citizens who want to enter Macedonia, so that the Kosovo government can unblock the import of Macedonian products.
Very soon the border between Kosovo and Macedonia can turn to normality, with trade and circulation between both countries.
The decision taken by officials in Macedonia might be achieved after a series of contacts between Macedonian and Kosovar authorities.
Business associations were against this blockage, saying that this damaged both sides, especially Macedonia, which exports more goods in Kosovo.
The Kosovo Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci, encouraged Deputy Prime Ministers Hajredin Kuci and Mimoza Kusari to intensify the contacts with the Macedonian homologues, so that they could resolve a problem that does nothing good to anyone.
