Macedonia, Parliament votes Albanian as second official language

The Parliament of Macedonia has approved the law for declaring Albanian a second official language, with 69 votes in favor.

There was no votes against or abstaining, while the MPs of the VMRO-DMPNE did not participate.

The debate for this law started on September 5th, 2017, at the Parliamentary Commission for European Matters.

The majority passed the need for approving it on November 15th 2017.
