Macedonia, Court of Appeal approves prison sentence for Gruevski

The Court of Appeal has confirmed the arrest measure for the former Prime Minister of Macedonai, Nikola Gruevski.

The Court of Appeal refused Gruevski’s complaint about the “Tank” case and approved the Court of First Instance verdict for two years in prison.

The “Tank” case is about power abuse by the former Interior Minister, Gordana Jankullovska, and the Chief of public procurements, Gjoko Popovski, specifically for purchasing a 500,000 EUR Mercedes.
