In Lushnje has started the sixth International Typological Folk Dance Festival.
This is an activity organized by the Ministry of Culture and the National Center of Folk Activities and the Lushnje Municipality. It has turned into a tradition for Lushnje, by reviving the cultural life of the town.
The first night lit a festive atmosphere in the streets of the town, attracting more spectators than ever before.
In the sixth edition of this festival there will be 12 groups from Albania and abroad. The spectacle will open with the Lushnje group, and then it will continue with the groups from Shkoder, Vlore and Lezha. The competition map this year has expanded even outside Albania. The festival will continue for three days and it will have groups from Greece, Italy and Bulgaria.
