During the presentation of the “National Revival” program in Kukes, the
Socialist leader, Edi Rama, promised to lower taxes for 95% of the
Albanian population.
“We will lower taxes for 95% of the Albanians. We will lower them for the small businesses and for all those who today earn less and pay more”, Rama declared.
The SP members who worked with the program – Mimi Kodheli, Shkelqim Cani and Arber Mazniku – explained the steps that the Socialist government will follow after June 23rd to bring the country out of the crisis, underlining the creation of 300.000 new jobs.
“The Albanian government employed only 789 people, from 144.000 that they promised. This is choosing a government that has failed to keep the promises, and another force that deserves to be voted”, Rama declared.
Rama asked the Kukes citizens to sign a new agreement through their votes for a better future.
“They don’t show their clean hands anymore, because they have them plunged into dirt. The dirtiest thing of all is that they are trying to convince people that everyone is dirty, so don’t even vote. But you have the opportunity to vote another solution”, Rama declared.
The progressive tax is one of the strongest points of the Socialist program for recovering the Albanian economy now in crisis for several years.
