Limaj on border demarkation with Montenegro: “It can be corrected”

Border demarcation with Montenegro is one of the conditions set by the European Union for Kosovo’s visa liberalization.

The agreement signed in August 2015 has not been ratified by the Parliament of Kosovo. Today’s Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, was one of the politicians who opposed it mostly.

Now, as Prime Minister, Haradinaj must find a solution to the agreement that was signed by the then Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci.

Radio Free Europe says that one of the variants that are being discussed is the proposition of Fatmir Limaj, which leaves room to correct mistakes without changing the core subject.

“As a government, we need to make use of all communication possibilities with Montenegro, to find a joint solution that doesn’t damage the interests of each country”, Limaj says for Radio Free Europe.
