Kosovo MP Fatmir Limaj will stay on house arrest for 60 more days.

His lawyer, Tahir Rrecaj, declared that there is no legal base for continuing the arrest measure, and for this they have made an appeal at the Supreme Court.

Rrecaj declared that they are waiting the Supreme Court decision, because, according to him, the decision for continuing the house arrest has no legal base.

Limaj was sentenced to house arrest a few days after the Constitutional Court ruled that the immunity of the MPs is not valid for criminal acts that might have happened outside the official activity.

EULEX has accused Limaj and nine other persons for war crimes in the Klecke village. The judicial session for the Klecka case is expected to start in the next week of November.
