Judge Parashqevi Ademi, was arrested by order of the Prosecution of Serious criems, together with lawyer Gjovalin Prendi.
They were arrested for passive corruption in cooperation. 200.000 ALL were seized as evidence, which the suspects were dividing among each other.
The Prosecution says that the investigations were followed by the Court of Serious Crimes, which have the competency to investigate corruption.
The case was registered after a citizen made a report. He notified the authorities that he had been asked to pay in exchange of a verdict in his favor.
The Serious Crimes have received an authorization from the High Council of Justice for the arrest of Judge Ademi, while the operation has been realized with stimulating tactics, according to the Prosecution.
