The Lezhe Court sentenced with 8 months to prison seven of the Dajci
Commissioners, accused of power abuse and falsification in the May 8th
elections, and one of them with only four months.
After nine sessions, the court ruled to sentence the Commissioners with 5 years in total, from 15 that the Prosecution had asked. The Commissioners will also be never allowed in any political function for three years.
The Prosecution had asked 15 years to prison and a fine of 2.4 million ALL against the commissioners who have falsified the signatures of the voters who were abroad, together with their IDs.
They were reported by the candidate of the Alliance for the Future, Rrok Rroku, who lost the Dajc Commune elections against the Alliance for the Citizen candidate, Gjergj Dojci.
