Lezhe castle damaged

One part of the eastern wall of the Lezhe Castle crumbled after the
heavy rains. There have been many signals about this, but the
authorities have never intervened.
A group of experts inspected the damages:
“We will inspect the entire blocks, dismantle them and replace them where they were, by filling the gaps with inert materials and by eliminating mud through concrete”, declared the director of the Institution of Monuments, Apollon Bace.
The rehabilitation of this castle is very urgent. This important part of our history and archeology have had more visits lately, after the reconstruction of the road.
