Letters falling from Ismail Qemali’s statue

The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, reported on his Twitter profile a gaffe
with the name of Ismail Qemali in the statue that was placed today in
Tirana.

“Look the vulgarity, how they have written Ismail Qemali’s name on the statue that was inaugurated today. What a shame!”, Rama writes on Twitter accompanying his post with a photo of the statue, where the last letter of his name is missing.

The status of Ismail Qemali, made by Odise Paskali, was taken out of the National Museum where it had been staying for years. Several state leaders were present in the inauguration ceremony.

The first images show that the name was OK, but a few hour after, the letter “l” has fallen.
