About 500 pre-university educational institutions opened their doors today to high school pre-graduates.
After 70 days in quarantine, 12th graders returned to school to refresh their knowledge in order to take the exams.
For 3 weeks, from May 18 to June 5, graduates will conduct 15 hours of lessons repetition, in disinfected school premises, with protective measures such as masks and gloves.
In addition to the gymnasiums, facilities of other 9-year schools have been made available to the graduates in order to make it possible to observe the social distance, in classrooms with no more than 15 students.
In this context, Sami Frashëri’s high school students are carrying out lessons in the 9-year school “4 Deshmoret” in Tirana.
Across Albania about 1,500 graduates out of 31,000 who will take the 4 matura exams, have chosen not to return to classrooms but to work individually.
In Tirana, 17 people, 16 students and 1 teacher of 12th grade were not allowed to attend classes, as their temperature was higher than 37.5C. The highest number was in Qemal Stafa High School, with 11 students and 1 teacher.
