Leasing of high school dormitory

The Ministry of Economy claimed that this is a transparent tender, where everyone can compete, but the information has been very limited and secret so far.

It all started when the Ministry of Economy sent a request to the Mayor of Tirana, in which the Luarasi University was asking to rent the dormitory.

Basha has agreed to lease the building. Sources at the Ministry of Economy say that the procedures for the tender were undertaken by the Municipality, since they were unable to maintain it due to the high cost.

The Tirana Municipality document to the Minister of Economy sets the documents that should be respected for leasing this object. The Ministry of Economy says that the lowest fee is 300 ALL per square meter.

The Municipality declared that the Council of Ministers’ decision issued on 2 May 2012 dictates that the fee must not be less than 300 ALL per square meter inside the Tirana road ring, and not less than 200 ALL outside. There will also be a 10% reduction of there will be employed more than 50 people, and 40% for 201 people.
