One year after the killing of the RENEA police officer, Ibrahim Basha,
the Prosecution of Serious Crimes sent for trial 11 young boys from
Lazarat, accused of murder, attempted murder and illegal arm possession.
The Prosecution of Serious Crimes told the court that the murder of Basha was committed by a structured criminal gang. The Prosecution underlines that the organizer is 21-year-old Arbjon Aliko, while his brother, Alban Aliko, Elson Kozma and two other brothers, Elvis and Bajram Boci, have participated in crime.
The Prosecution said that the defendants wanted to stop police from patrolling Lazarat, the village where cannabis used to be planted openly.
