Lawyers throughout the country held a protest against the Council of Ministers verdict that defines their payment level.
Lawyers in Fier boycotted criminal and civilian trials after the government’s decision to raise the fees and contributions of their profession.
There are 370 judges operating in Fier, and the Chamber of Lawyers has vowed to fine everyone that violates the boycott order.
The lawyers of Elbasan and Lushnje also joined the protest.
