The Court of Tirana left in prison lawyer Bashkim Hoxha, who was
arrested yesterday after sending death threats to the Albanian Prime
Minister, Edi Rama.
Hoxha declared in the hearing session that he was under the influence of alcohol and that his purpose was not to threaten the Prime Minister.
However, Prosecutor Valentin Preci asked the Court to leave him in prison, a request that was accepted by the Court of Tirana.
Hoxha is accused of making death threats and misusing phone calls.
