Law for stolen vehicles

The opposition declared that the draft-law of the Interior Ministry that
reassesses 4500 vehicles and 250 sailing vessels seized until 2010 is
another corruptive act.

The Socialist MPs at the Parliamentary Commission of security think that all these cars will be sent for scrap before the New Year’s eve.

“It has become a tradition that these objects go to government’s companies, as they did with the Polican plant, which was totally destroyed for scrap”, declared the Socialist MP, Gazmir Bizhga.

MP Ilir Gjoni accused that some of these cars have been used by the Albanian institutions and the Prime Minister, Bujar Nishani.

“I want to know on what bases did he used these objects. Was there a legislation for this action”, Gjoni declared.

“Personally, I’m not aware of what you are saying, but I believe that it must not be true”, replied the Deputy Interior Minister, Arben Ristani.

Ristani rejected another concern; that of stolen vehicle parts in the police districts.

“I have no information about this, no complaint by any citizen”, Ristani declared.

“You don’t have information, but I have my sources and I have contacted with citizens who have reported this”, declared MP Asllan Dogjani.
