The coach of the Albanian national football team, Josip Kuze declared
that he is realist and admits of facing one of Europe’s best teams, but
he added that this doesn’t stop him and the Albanian team to fight for a
positive result.
“We cannot pretend to dominate against France, and we expect them to have greater ball possession. But this doesn’t mean that we will only stay on defense. We will try to catch them unprepared with our counterattacks. Placing Currili as midfielder is a relief to us, because he is aggressive, able to duel and threaten the adversary with high crosses. This selection was made due to Teli’s good shape”, Kuze declared.
Captain Altin Lala, whose place in the first formation is not sure yet, says that in front of such a strong adversary, they should be cold blooded.
“We hope to be in an optimal state. We need to be cold blooded, because France has good attackers”
“The French are leading in the first place and have the pressure to secure this spot by winning against us and Romania. We must be united and the public should support us”, Cana declared.
The Albanian coach will face the French players led by Laurent Blanc with a formation with two attackers, as always the duo Salihi-Bogdani.
