Kukan: Serbs to avoid violence

The head of the delegation for Balkan in the European Parliament, Eduard
Kukan, appeals all politicians in Serbian and Kosovo to show
responsibility. He asked the Kosovo Serbs to preserve their emotions and
avoid violence.
“I appeal all responsible politicians of both sides, and Serbians who live in Northern Kosovo to preserve any emotional action and potentially violent. Establishing law and order in this part of Kosovo must be on the interest of all. All of us value the responsible manner with which the dialogue with Prishtina and Belgrade started by the beginning of this month. We would be sorry if this achievement would fade away now”, Kukan declared.
This comment of the European Parliament Delegation for Balkan came after the tensions that rose recently in Northern Kosovo, due to the measures that are being taken for implementing the agreement for the Customs, which was achieved in the last dialogue round between Serbia and Kosovo in Brussels.
