Kukan: Berisha promised to accept result

The head of the European Parliament delegation, Eduard Kukan, and the
European Ambassador to our country, Ettore Sequi, had meetings with the
Albanian political leaders in these hours of anxious wait for the
election results.
“Prime Minister Berisha has reiterated two or three times that he would accept the results”, Kukan declared, underlining that besides the Lac tragedy, where one person was killed and two others were wounded, the elections were very normal.
“We are hopeful that the rest of the process, the counting and the recognition of the result, will be as normal. If the process will be closed with success, this is a victory for Albania and a strong encouragement for the integration. We are ready to support you”, Kukan declared.
